"Hi! This is Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to make a Thanksgiving Wreath. To make this wreath, you will want a cornucopia. I made my own cornucopia out of twine and I just simply started with a base and I put glue, hot glue on top of it and just kept building it until I had a cornucopia. Then I cut the bottom of it off so that it would lay flat. I wove ribbon through my pretzels and then I put the cornucopia on it and then I found a wonderful package of little gourds that were very Thanksgiving looking, harvest foods that probably would have been harvested on our first Thanksgiving and I also had some pods that had wonderful little black seeds in them. So I wove the ribbon through, put the cornucopia on and then put the harvest products, harvest goods all around here. Now when you are weaving your ribbon through, you want to start on the backside and come through and cover a joint and then go all the way through, all the way around until you come to a joint in the back when you are finished. Lay a little bit of glue right in here, press your ribbon down until it is cool and then do that to the other side. For this wreath, after I had woven the ribbon through glued on the cornucopia and all of my gourds and seeds, I put an offset bow to the side. I just made myself a little bow and left plenty of ribbon hanging. This is a simple bow because the ribbon is same on both sides. So I made a little simple bow, left ribbon hanging and then after I glued the bow on, I just kind of twisted the ribbon and gave it some texture, put a little dab of glue and glued it on as I was going. Then I put a few of these wonderful silk leaves at the bottom to give the effect of the falling leaves. Then I took some textured paper and I printed come ye thankful people. You can put anything you want in there of course and you may find some things are already preprinted, but I just wanted it to be simple. You can just affix that to the back with Elmer’s glue or hot glue and there you have a very simple very nice Thanksgiving Wreath to go along with your Thanksgiving decorations on Thanksgiving Day."
