"Hi! This is Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts on behalf of Expert Village. Today, we are going to make a simple spring candle ring. What you are going to need for this are some silk flowers or artificial flowers, some baby’s breath and some leaves and of course your basic pretzel ring; one that you know will fit over your candle or that you even built to fit a specific candle. What I did first with this was to take the baby’s breath, cut it off into little pieces, so that I had just a bit of the baby’s breath. Then with my hot glue gun, I placed a bead of glue in a corner of a pretzel and put the baby’s breath in there. Once I had it in one piece, I went around and put a little bit of baby’s breath in each pretzel, just one in each pretzel and then you need to decide what kind of flowers you are going to use. I used the same color of flowers here, just lavender flowers. You can use any kind of flower you want, just when think spring, if you are thinking spring think spring colors, you can use very small flowers or you can use larger flowers and for some reason it just seems that groups of three are always very pleasing to the eye. So once I had decided what flowers I wanted to use then I had to decide on the leaves and what I did for the leaves was to take leaves off of the flowers, cut them and put them right in the middle. So around the wreath, I put a leaf in the middle of each pretzel and then I cut the flowers off and I put a bit of hot glue in the three sections of the wreath of the pretzel and just put a little bit of glue right around the back of it and stick it down in the hole. This is a very effective, very simple little wreath that you can make and again you can have your wreath to be all one color or you could pick several spring colors and put them together, whatever pleases your eye. Once you have glued on all of your flowers and your leaves and your baby’s breath, you have a finished, very nice candle wreath for your spring table or your spring center piece."
