" Hi! This is Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to make a Pearls and Lace Wedding Wreath. This makes a lovely gift for that couple; something very unique, they will not have anything like it I can guarantee it. What I did to make this wreath was to find some lace that had pearls in it and weave this lace through the wreath to begin with. Whenever you weave lace or a ribbon through a wreath you want to make sure that you come from the under side and go over a joint. This helps keep your wreath strong and it also covers up any little flaws that you might have. As I was making this wreath, I pulled it through and then I left a little bit of a puff and I straightened out the ribbon and I just smashed it and then put it through the next one, had it come up where I wanted it, pulled it nice and snugly because I had already smashed it here and then smashed it again and put it through to the other side. When you have gone all the way around the wreath, you want to secure it behind with your hot glue gun. You can use hot glue now because you finished your wreath and it will hold. So you lay a bead of hot glue in this crease there, hold your ribbon and lace down until it is cool and it is sealed. Once you have done that, then you want to put on a ruffled lace behind it. So I turn my project over and then you just simply lay a bead of glue from pretzel to pretzel on the top of each little hump, press your ribbon or lace and go all the way around and then you have a ruffle all the way around your lace. Then I took the wedding invitation and I used something around it, it does not matter it can be a candle or it can be a glass, draw around it, cut it out and glue it to the back and then I used this and I made a multiple loop ribbon for the bottom and then I took little pearls, you can find them on things like this or you can find them by the yard, and I put little pearls around on the pretzels and three little pearls in the middle of the wreath to give it a kind of a really romantic pearl and lace effect. So this will make a very charming, very unique wedding present for that very special couple especially when you use their very own wedding invitation to make your Pearls and Lace Wedding Wreath."
