"Hi! This is Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to make a Fall Candle Ring. When I made this candle ring, I had this candle in mind. So when I have made the base I made sure that it was a base that was big enough that would fit over my candle with room to spare. You can use any size candle and have a base that fits. This is a smaller candle and you could do the same thing, but you would want to have smaller leaves to do it. I found these wonderful silk leaves in bags at my local craft store; actually in Wal-Mart in the craft section they were wonderful. What I did was tried to find leaves of different colors and also with sparkly and plain. I took three different leaves and put them together and then I arranged them on each pretzel. I put three leaves together in somewhat of a circle, I kind of put them down in so that they would have this standing up effect and then for each one of the pretzels, I put three different leaves, so would have a very much fall leaf effect. I made sure that I included some that were the color of the candle or close to it so that that color would be picked up from the candle in the wreath. Once you have glued on all of your leaves and have them the way you like them and you want to put something a little bit more perhaps on it to embellish it, I chose these wonderful seedpods. I just love them; I think that they are very beautiful and inside they have these shiny black seeds. So I also glued on the seeds to look like they were spilling out of the pods. You could also include some other little findings that you have. To me, these were little more orange than I wanted because I was picking up the purple in the candle, so I chose not to use some of the gourds. But if you have a candle that was brown or a candle that was orange or green, then you could pickup those colors in the leaves and these would be beautiful on your fall wreath. Whatever colors you choose and however you choose to do it, I hope you have a lot of fun making a candle ring from your pretzel wreath. This is my Fall Candle Ring."
