"Hi! This is Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts on behalf of Expert Village. Today we are going to make this charming little spring wreath. This was a lot of fun to make. Before I made this wreath, I went to the fabric store and looked through a lot different kinds of ribbons until I found just exactly the one I liked and I really liked the lavender and the soft green, to me this really said spring. Before you make your wreath, before you embellish your wreath, you want to put the ribbon through it and now obviously this ribbon has two sides, so you want to be careful and keep the decorated side up, put your ribbon from the backside through to the front side over a joint, you can go one and a fourth to one and a half times around your wreath on the outside. That will tell you about how much ribbon you need; you are going to weave your ribbon in and out, in and out, going under the middle and over the joint each time. You can use ribbon that is just cloth ribbon, you can use lace, you can use twine and you can even use wired ribbon. After you have your ribbon all the way through and you have met it at the other end, you are going to want to seal it in the back with your hot glue gun. Once you have already shellacked or varnished your pretzel, you do not have to worry about using the hot glue gun anymore because it will stick with the hot glue gun. However you do not want to take a piece off, that you have hot glued gun on because you will end up taking the skin of the pretzel right with it and then you are in for a major repair job. When you get to the end, go ahead and lay a bit of glue right down the joint, put the end of your ribbon, right in that spot and hold it until it is dry and then take your other end and put it there too. Now on this one before you put on your final pieces, you want to do the side of it. So I took my baby's breath and I laid it between the ribbon on the bare pretzel and what I did was stick it down in my hot glue gun and that way I knew I had plenty of glue on it, so I put the baby's breath across on the bare pretzel, all the way up three pretzels. Then if you are going to use an elongated flower, you want to put it so that it drapes down the side like this one did, I took them off and put them on individually because I did not want this stem on the back and then the very last one, I put facing up. These were stickers that I found in the scrap booking section and I just could not resist it, I thought they were just too beautiful. So I put a few more flowers in the lavender and a couple of stickers on it and then a skinny little piece of ribbon for the back of it, so that I could hang it and I am very, very pleased with my beautiful spring pretzel wreath. I hope you enjoy making yours too. "
