"Hi! This is Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts on behalf of Expert Village. I hope that you have as much fun making wreaths, candle rings and picture frames from pretzels as I have had. One thing that I have learned is that if you do not store your pretzel ornaments the proper way, you will lose them. If you live in a very humid climate, the humidity will destroy them and make them soft. If you live in a dry climate you are very likely to end up with bugs and they will eat them up and be hollow. What I have discovered that works the best for me is to use some kind of plastic container; does not have to be an expensive one to preserve your wreath. You want to make sure that it is not too big or too small. If it is just the right size your wreath or your ring will fit in there without bending or folding or crinkling anything. So you want to very carefully place your wreath or your candle ring in your plastic container. Now if you live in a climate where there is humidity or if you live in a dry climate and you use an evaporative cooler, this is how I discovered this. You really need to make sure that you have something that goes in your container that will help to keep it dry. You can get the little silicone gel packages that come with many of the things that you purchase but if you do not have enough of those, there are products in your grocery store that are made for just this purpose. You purchase some of the crystals, put them in a little tiny paper bag or a little cloth and put them in with your wreath or your ornament when you put it in. Carefully place it so that is not going to be wrinkled or crinkled or bent and then just seal it up, burp it real good, make sure you have a good seal and this will do two things for your wreath. It will keep them dry and it will keep the humidity from destroying them, it will keep the bugs out and it will also keep them from getting crushed because after all they are made only out of pretzels and they will break if you drop them or put something heavy on them. Once they are stored in plastic, they will stay nice and dry, you can stack them and then when you are ready to get them out for that season, for that holiday or that special occasion they come out looking just as good as the day that you put them in them. I do hope that you enjoyed making things out of pretzels and I hope that you find these hints helpful. "
