Video Transcript

"Hello! My name is Denise Robinson and I am a set designer for television and film and I am here on behalf of Expert Village. We are going to make a rainstick and here are the materials that are needed. A piece of material, some scissors, tassels bought at a fabric store, some glue and a cup of rice. I am using rice this time instead of beans to give it a different sound and texture inside the tube. Normally a rainstick would be made out of a hollow piece of tree but I am using a holster cylinder and the tops come off so I can secure the contents. So with all these materials and rice, let's make our rain stick. "
