"Hello, my name is Denise Robinson, and I'm a set designer for television and film. And, I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. There are many different styles that you can decorate your home or office space. Today, I'm going to use an African influenced theme to create inexpensive decorative items. We're going to make a rain stick by using rice to fill it, tassels on the end, and material to cover it. We're going to make a decorative pillow by using raffia, beads, which I took from one of my beaded belts, and some twine to connect it to the edges of the pillow. We going to make a smaller shaker by using beans instead of rice, some material to cover it with, and some twine to give it an extra little look too. And, with that all in mind, we're going to do that and you can possibly have your kids join you to create some of these crafts that are easy to make. "
