"Alright, I've already measured a place to mark on both sides. I'm just going to make a light line across the back. It won't take no time at all in cutting this board. I'll grab my straight cutter here. Now we're ready to use the mat cutter. Place it in like this, always cut on the backside of the mat board, line it up where your lines are, now you?re ready to cut. One thing you should always remember when you?re starting a new project is to change the blades. Dull blades will make an uneven cut, not what you want. So after changing my blade, I am ready to make my second cut here. Line it up good with the lines that you've drawn on the map board, on the back. Much better, much better with a new blade."
