"Now we're ready to cut the inner part of your mat board, the beveled edges. So what we'll do with that is place your piece of mat board down like this, flip it over take your print and measure from that point out. Now that's where this tool here will come n handy. This will give you from one inch to eight inch to measure for your mat. Anything larger then that you'd want to use a ruler. Or a museum piece, or something very large you would use a T square like this. So to do it the fast and easy way, and make sure it is centered, 5 inches there, it's not centered, then go probably four and three quarters on both sides. You don't want to cover too much of your edge on the print. You want just a little bit, probably 1/4 inch to hang over your mat board behind it. So we got it at , set it about 4 3/4's on both sides, double check, always double check, that looks perfect."
