"I have chosen a blue, kind of a baby blue matte board for this print here, and so you're going to have to have your measuring tools. I got a T-square and a ruler here. T-square's good for keeping everything straight and square, and what I like to do, especially on a smaller print like this is to go with like a two inch frame of the matte board all the way around it. So the next step would be to measure this matte board, and cut to fit the frame, the outer part of the frame, and also you're going to need a backing board. So I would cut that at the same time. The backing board or foam board goes in behind the matte, and pushes the matte board up against the glass, and makes your print or your picture much flatter up against the glass."
