"Hi this is Dr. Simcha Shapiro here with Expert Village. So we're going to talk about the technique of soft tissue now. Now soft tissue is not just massage. Although in many ways it is very similar and may use similar techniques to massage. But, what it is, is it?s working on the soft tissue. The skin, the muscles, the fascia which is like this cellophane wrap around all of the muscles which can get caught up sometimes, the lymphatic system. The soft tissue techniques do a number of things. Number one, it helps to release muscles. And, number two, they help to increase circulation. And so its a really wonderful technique that a lot of people use to prepare for other techniques to prepare to release all of the things that are around what's really stuck underneath. So, that they can move what is stuck underneath very effectively. So now I'm going to show you how it?s done."
