" Hello! On behalf of expertvillage.com my name is Eileen Duffy, and today I’m going to talk to you about how to start your own handbag company. The next very important step is once you have your samples what do you do? You need to sell them to buyers. Well what I did was research all the different trade shows that go on in New York City, and here are some pictures of how I would setup my booth. I shared my booth with my very best friend Ana Cooler, she’s a network designer, and this is how we sold the collections, buys would come, editors would come to the shows and take orders and then ship the orders to the stores. It’s very important to have the buyers come to the show to meet you, to see your collection, to touch the fabrics, to look at everything and to see what the whole collection is all about."
