" Hello! On behalf of expertvillage.com my name is Eileen Duffy and today I’m going to talk to you about how to start your own handbag company. My very first collection was all handmade, all of my bags are hand stitched, hand beaded, hand embroidered, this is even a hand dyed felt, handmade felt, hand dyed. And I employed about 10 people and I got them through either FIT or Parsons or the Fashion High School, and I just put ads up in the schools and I just had the girls come over and we would sew and make our samples and our production right inside my apartment, and all we would do is just sew from 9 to 5 and that’s how my first collection was made."
