" Hello, on behalf of expertvillage.com my name is Eileen Duffy, and today I’m going to talk to you about how to start your own handbag company. When I first start working on a collection, I don’t go anywhere without my sketch book. All of my ideas and creativity go into this sketch book. I am constantly drawing, picking up fabrics, looking at colors, looking at all different types of fabrication, any kind of idea inspiration goes into this book. Ideas can come from anything just walking around the streets, or if you see a movie, so every season I start with my sketches, and this is the beginning of the collection. Here I have some silk taffetas in bright colors that I use for spring mixed with some printed linings."
