Video Transcript

" Hello! On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Eileen Duffy and today I’m going to talk to you about how to start your own handbag company. I went to FIT in New York City—that’s Fashion Institute of Technology—this is where I got my background in fashion, I studied fashion design and fabric styling for four years and then moved on and worked for Ralph Lauren as a designer, and after that I started my own handbag business. I would suggest if you don’t live in New York City, there are lots of wonderful schools around the world that you can study fashion, fashion styling, fashion merchandising, fashion buying… the bottom line is a proper training; the right school is a right way to start."
