"Hi, my name's Elissa with expertvillage.com and today I'm going to show you how to crochet a scarf. Another way to finish off your scarf is to not only choose a different color yarn but also a different type of yarn, that way you get a nice color contrast as well as a texture contrast. So, because this yarn that I've chosen is much, much thinner than the yarn that I've used in my scarf I'm going to use three threads instead of two for each piece of fringe. So it's the same process. You're going to double over your thread to make your fringe. Use your hook to go through the stitch in your scarf, pull the piece through to make a loop, and then pull the tail end of your fringe through the loop and then pull it taught. So, I'll show you that one more time. You're going to grab your three pieces of thread, double it over, use your hook to go through your stitch, grab hold of your fringe with your hook, pull it through your stitch and then pull the tail end of the fringe through the loop and pull it taught. So, there's another way to add visual interest to your scarf."
