"Hi, my name is Ella Seltzer for Expert Village. Okay, right now I'm going to show you how to crimp your beads onto the chain so they look like they're floating. In order to do this you need to start off with a crimp bead and you insert it or insert the chain into the crimp bead. You should be able to slide it around. Make sure that you're a reasonable distance from the end because you need to have space to add your tube. Then you take your bead, squeeze it with the pliers gently but firmly, then it should lie flat like this. Then, the next stage is to put your bead onto the chain. This is just the same as you would with a piece of string or wire. Just thread your bead on. And now you have to add the second crimp bead. Push it down so it rests on top of the crystal. Like this. Okay, then you need to crimp the crimp bead on top of the crystal so you push your pliers down on top of the crystal and once again, firmly. You don't need to squeeze too hard because if you squeeze too hard you're going to break the chain. Squeeze the crimp bead so it lies flat and so that you can see that your crystal doesn't move on the chain. And there we have it, this is now floating."
