" Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and on behalf of Expert Village, we’re wrapping up our series on using beads in your card making. We’ve talked about using seed beads with sticker paper, we’ve wrapped beads on wire, we’ve used them in number of different ways. In this segment, I’m just going to show you some more examples of cards that have using beads and talk to you a little about them. In this card right here, you can see that only 2 beads were used. They were 2 larger beads that were strung through some yarn that was strung through 2 eyelets. It just adds a little decorative touch to this card, 2 simple beads. This card here is the same principal as what we showed you with the eyelets and the wire, stringing the beads on. The difference here is instead of eyelets, they used brads to secure the wire. Then to keep the beads in the place they wanted, they added a little kink, a little turn in the wire, so that instead of moving freely the beads stayed positioned where they wanted them. This here is one of my favorite cards. They used a stamped image and a frame, as I had showed you to make with squares. Then they used some waxy flax and some simple beads to add some touch, making this card a dream catcher card. This here is a very basic simple card that you used seed beads and the adhesive sheets to just add a little sparkle and dimension to this card. This one again with the wire. This one was strung instead of through the eyelet; it was strung around the eyelet, so it was adding some curlicues and a little bit more definition than the other ones that we did. These are allowed to move freely around. This card here, this is a long card, and on this one they used waxy flax. They strung it through the eyelets, and they tied a cute little bow here to add a little more decorative touch to the beads that they have moving freely. This card here, just one bead used very simply. A larger bead, the string was wrapped through the bead and then tied in a knot, just adding a little whimsical touch to this card. Finally, making your frame with your seed beads and your adhesive around your embellished element. We hope that you’ve enjoyed this series of using beads when you’re card making.
