Summary: How can I use embossing in different projects? Learn all this and more in this free arts and crafts video taught by an embossing expert.
Elizabeth began scrapbooking in 2000 as a Close to my Heart consultant, where she taught hundreds of people how to scrapbook and make unique creations with scrapbooking tools.
" Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and on behalf of Expert Village, we’re finishing up our series on tips and techniques for embossing in your card making. Just to review some of the items that you can make with embossing. The stained glass card is one that we made, where you're just taking clear embossing powder, making 6 or 7 layers, letting it cool in perhaps your freezer, and then cracking it. It’s very easy to do. Clear embossing powder is something you may have on hand, which is easier to use than say liquid glass. Embossing is also a very elegant form of embellishment, and very popular if you’re making your own wedding announcements or wedding invitations. A silver embossing powder adds such touch of class and elegance to your invitations. This right here is the impression embossing that we did, where we did the raised embossing on either side. Then we had 6-7 layers of silver embossing, and then pressed our stamp right into it when it was still hot. This is a very fun way, and a little known way to use embossing powder. So if you use this one, you’re sure to impress your friends. I hope you enjoy your time and that you have fun in embossing your own cards and creations. If you would like to just order hand made cards specifically for you, you can contact me at my email address, which is lizziegcreations@gmail.com. "
