" Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and on behalf of Expert Village, we’re continuing with our series of using beads in card making. We’ve talked some about seed beads, and we’ve shown other ways to use other beads as far as stringing or using them in that manner. Now, we’re going to make a frame on this card using beads. To do this, you want to make sure that you’re using a tape runner or a double-sided tape. I’m using a Tombow permanent mono adhesive, and I’m just going to trace around the edge of this stamped embellishment, making a full square around this piece. You can see that I’ve got my adhesive on there really good. What I’m going to so is I’m going to take some of these green beads. To start with, I’m just going to sprinkle them on here. I’m just going to sprinkle them on there so that there’ some there. Then I’m just going to tap it into this lid. If you have a craft tray, a craft tray will work well. If not, the lid to one of your bowls works just as fine. I’m just going to add a few more of these green ones on here and retap it, and the beads go flying. There are some green ones. What you can do is just kind of push to firmly implant them into your adhesive. The next thing I’m going to do is try and put these green ones back in here. We don’t want to mix our beads up too much. Then again, holding the card over the lid or your craft tray, I’m going to take a scoop of these teenie tiny seed beads and just add them filling in the gaps where the green beads are. Just going around there a few times, and then shaking making a mess. You just want to shake those into your lid or your craft tray. The bigger your tray or lid is the less of a mess you’ll make. You can just see. Then when you see these holes here, you can just go back in and fill in pouring them or just taking them by your finger and filling in that space. That way you just add a fancy little frame around here. You can see there are holes here, here, and here. Again, all you need to do is just add more beads, push down with your finger to secure them on the adhesive, and fill in your holes that way. Then you have a completely beaded frame for your greeting card."
