Summary: Embellish home made money holder cards in this free arts and crafts video.
Elizabeth began scrapbooking in 2000 as a Close to my Heart consultant, where she taught hundreds of people how to scrapbook and make unique creations with scrapbooking tools.
" Hi! My name is Elizabeth and on behalf of Expert Village, this is our 10th clip in our series of creating a money holder. Now up until now, we've created our very basic money holder card, greeting card in which you can put your money. I now want to talk to you a little bit about embellishments and how you can add to the pizzazz to your greeting cards or money holders. Some of the items that you can use in embellishing are snaps or eyelets. These are snaps. You will see that they have no hole at the top; they are just a little round circle that come in many different colors and sizes, and they are put into your card the same way as the eyelet is. I will be showing that to you later. Other things are eyelets. You will see here in this spot that I have assembled several different eyelets. These are larger eyelets, 3/16ths inch size. Eyelets can come in many shapes: presents, hearts, stars, dogs. They come in all kinds of different varieties. This is to show you some of what you can find. The most basic and standard eyelets is a 1/8 inch, and this one is sealed, so I am not going to open it right now, but you can see you can get them in any color of the rainbow. Another embellishments you can do are here are some greeting cards that I have. This one again, was a very simple basic card. All we did was add a little ribbon bow. It adds a little class to it, makes it a little prettier and stands out a little bit more. On this card here, you may not be able to tell so much except when you have the card in front of you, you may see that it has more dimensions because this holly berry here was placed on top of a foamed dot, giving it added height and dimension so that you can have a little more puff, a little more pizzazz to the card, as if it were just lying flat.
