" Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and on behalf of Expert Village, this is our 7th clip in our series of making a money holder. In this clip we are going to talk some about the different adhesives that you use when creating greeting cards or in this case, a money holder. Now here are some of the most popular; this is a Close to My Heart Product called Bonding Memories Glue. I know that there are several other companies that have a product such as this. I know that Stamping Up Does, I believe Provo Craft does as well. With this product you open it up, the glue is a color so you can see exactly where it is. I am just going to show you on my scratch paper here. When you go like this, it shows the blue adhesive. It's a liquid glue. So this is one of the popular items available today. Your basic glue stick is another good one. You want to make sure, if you are using a glue stick, that you are using one that is acid free and if you are using it for scrap booking, photo safe. You can get them anywhere. You can get them at your local craft store, office supply store, pretty much anywhere you can find glue stick. Just be sure it is acid free. Another popular item are photo squares. Now these are just used for photos. A lot of people like the ease of using these. There is a dispenser; mine hasn't been opened yet, but there is a dispenser here that will dispense the photo squares, you take them off, stick it down, take the top off and then put your other piece that you want to adhere. These are very convenient and very inexpensive. The only thing is, is there is a lot more mess because you have lots of little labely things lying around. Another one is a tape runner. This one here is a the Tom Bow Mono Adhesive Tape Runner. There are several different brands out there. But this one, this is my favorite because you need just a little bit to go a long way; it's simple and easy to use. You just put a little bit in the corners. Now a lot of people I've seen use this want to put the tape runner around the whole edge. You are wasting your money if you do it that way. You just need a little bit in the corners, maybe a little piece in the center, glue it down and you are good to go. This is a permanent adhesive. Tom Bow and many of the other tape runner brands do make a removable one as well. That is great if you are going to reposition; however I would suggest and recommend that you do use the permanent, because the removable one does have a tendency to come apart and you don't want that to happen when you hand someone their money holder and oops, the embellishment fell right off. So this is what I would recommend when using a permanent adhesive. With whatever adhesive you use, be sure that you are using one that is convenient for you, that you can afford and that is acid free. "
