How to Use Stamps to Decorate Your Money Holder Car: Stamping Technique

" I'm Elizabeth and on behalf of Expert Village. This is our 5th clip in our series of creating a money holder, and this clip we are going to be talking about stamping because we are going to be stamping some images for our card. I want to talk to you a little bit about stamps. Right now there are two main kinds of stamps. There are wood mounted stamps or acrylic stamps. You may also have foam mounted stamps which are rubber stamps, and instead of being placed on a wood block or on a foam block. Now a lot of people right now are going to the clear acrylic stamps and here is why. They are so easy to use, they take up a lot less space and they make it easy for stamping. What you need with acrylic stamps are acrylic blocks to go with them. What you do is you simply remove the stamp you want to use from its holder, you line it up on the block, it adheres to the block, and then you can very easily see exactly where you will be stamping an image, which makes it very nice, especially is you are laying your stamps or you want it to go in precisely and exact space. That is exactly an exact space, so that is the great thing about acrylic stamps. Now many of use have loads of wooden stamps from before acrylics came out and they are still wonderful to use. The difference being that they are made of wood, and so you can't see precisely where you are stamping. You still get a fine quality stamp from these and when you use a good quality ink and make sure it is stamped, these will give you perfect images every time. "
