" I'm Elizabeth and on behalf of Expert Village, this is our 4th clip in our scissors of making a money holder. In this clip we will be cutting all the necessary papers to make the money holder that I am demonstrating today. So when you are cutting your papers, you want to have all of your papers in front of you as well as your cutting tool. I find it useful to have planned out all the pieces that I will be using, and have them written down so that I am sure to cut precisely the exact measurement, to avoid wasting paper and making unnecessary or incorrect cuts. So the first one we are going to do is what I am calling card stock #1 and I am going to cut this 7 inches x 8 inches, aligning it here on the 7 inch mark, cutting and then moving it to the 8 inch mark and cutting. We will then cut my background and texture paper. I will be cutting this at 3 inches x 7 ½ inches. My next card stock color, I will be cutting this to be 3 ½ inches x 1 inch. When you get to 1 inch or smaller, it is a little bit tricky so you just need to make sure that you have it held securely when you are cutting. Then we want a 3 ½ inch by ¾ inch of this first card stock color. This is the one that you just want it to line up with your guide, so you want to hold it on the right side as you cut. Next we want a 2 x 2 of our card stock #2, which is this black. This is the square piece that we will be layering the stamped image on and with this white, we want a 1 ¾ piece as this will be laid on that 2 x 2 mat. Alright after that we want a separate pattern paper, choosing this lined paper, and we want this to be 3 inches x 7 ½ inches. It's the same size as the first patterned paper that we cut. This will go on the interior of the card. Then a 3 ½ x 3 ½ square of this card stock. Now I am saying a 3 ½, but when you are making a second cut for this, this is going to actually going to create the envelope inside so go to the 3 ½ mark, and just go back about a 16th of an inch that is going to let it close and open easier. Then with your third pattern, the same; 3 ½ x just a little shy of 3 ½. Then finally this strip here of card stock we want to be 1 inch x 3 ½. Again, just shy of 3 ½ mark. Those are the pieces that we will be using to assemble our card. "
