Video Transcript

"Hi! My name is Elton Hall and I'm here at Texas State Optical in Austin, Texas. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village, and I'm going to show you how to care for your contact lenses. For you first time wearers, what you want to do is try not to wear the contact lens all day. You want to kind of work your way up on wearing the contact lens. You would probably start out about between 4-6 hours, depending on your day. You're going to add 2 hours to a day to kind of do a little small increments so your eye can get used to wearing the contact lens. If you've been wearing contact lenses, you want to make sure that you do not over wear the contact lenses. Depending on your day, your schedule, you'll know exactly. You want to make sure that you give your eyes a little bit of rest. Try not to sleep in the contact lens and go from there."
