"Hi! My name is Elton Hall and I'm from Texas State Optical in Austin, Texas. I’m here on behalf of Expert Village, and I'm going to show you how to insert and remove contact lenses. Okay. If you're a first time wear for contact lenses, make sure that you have a mirror at all times. You can actually have a 2 sided mirror for people who have plus powers. They may need a magnifying mirror so they can see themselves a little bit better or the other side of course. If you get frustrated. It's going to be difficult the first time. I would say difficult the first time. Don't let you get it down. Just keep practicing. You'll get better at it. If you get frustrated, make sure that you give yourself a break. Don't mess with the contact lens for a couple of hours. Don't over exert yourself. If your eye starts getting sore, make sure that you give yourself a rest a little bit. If you get frustrated, just put the contact lens down, start over the next day, and you'll get the hang of it. Also, you want to get comfortable on touching your eye. I know it's going to be a little bit hard for the first time. Once you get used to it, you do it over and over again, you'll get better at actually inserting a contact lens, touching your eye, and not blinking as much. It kind of just depends on yourself. If you do get frustrated, just make sure that you give yourself a break, and it'll be a little bit easier next time."
