"I'm D J Poye, professional Jeweler and Gemologist and I am here today on behalf of Expert Village. Okay, so we've finished pickling and we're going to take it to the bench right now and to clean up the back with a small goat hair brush in the flex shaft and some tripoli, which is a light abrasive compound. Brown tripoli is usually what I use. There's other tripoli's but brown tripoli is pretty much a standard that I use on silver. And I get some on the end of my goat hair brush, and I cut into a round. I put down some felt as you can tell, and I use the tripoli to clean up the back where we soldered. And also now for the cleft side to as well. The part that is going to be mostly polished in the center, you want that to really stand out bright. And this is just what I'm going to be doing. The piece gets kind of hot some times, so that's why I have some felt here, or the flannel here. I'll be doing this for just a little while just to polish it all up. "
