"I'm D J Poye, professional Jeweler and Gemologist and I am here today on behalf of Expert Village. Okay we're ready to take it out of the pickle, so you have your bamboo tongs and you always just come in there and take it straight out. Make sure that you drop the excess pickling solution off. And then go straight into baking soda. And you can hear it do it's little fizzy. And the baking soda will do what? Neutralize the acid. And then it goes straight here to the water, with a small brush, back and forth. And actually, you can even use a bristle brush too. "
