"DAVID GIBSON: In this clip we're going to talk about making a spiral on the inside of our pot. I've tried to do that already with my kidney shaped wooden rib, you can smooth this out a little bit. In making some of these marks you want to be confident with it. I think if you're tentative that can sort of show in your pottery. So we really want to be confident and direct. So I'm just going to take the edge of my kidney shaped rib and really kind of dig in here, a real nice quick spiral. And just let it rip. I have a--that looks pretty good. Got a little bit of some spots here that are going to interrupt your eye but I think I can pick those out with my pin tool here in just a minute. And I think that's not such a bad spiral."
