"Hi! This is David Jackel on behalf of Expert Village and I am here to talk to you about traveling with amplifiers. Traveling with amplifier is the necessary evil in the music world because amps are heavy and they do break easily. One thing you can do is keep your amps at small as possible. It often isn't necessary to have gigantic amps. If you can have a smaller amp, you are going to save yourself a lot of trouble carrying them and you are going to save yourself a lot of space. Avoid keeping cables in back of your amp because they can slip out. It is better to keep them in the back. When you are traveling in a car, the big amps should go in the backseat and the smaller amps should go in the trunk. That way you don't have to do any heavy lifting out of the trunk. If you can, get wheels put on your larger amps. This can save you a lot of trouble. Wheeling an amp down the street is a lot easier than having two people lifting it. Although they are big and sturdy, it is good to have a cover for your amp that way if any kind of drink gets spilled, that's not going on your amp and it just keeps everything safe particularly the knobs. Knobs are the killieth hill of the amplifier because as big as the amps are, those little knobs can break off. Replacing them can be a real pain. So always keep an eye on them and keep them protected. When packing your amp, always make sure that nothing is resting directly on top of your knobs. When you are traveling with amplifiers+, traveling light is the best way to do it. You want to make sure that you are not going to strain yourself when you are picking them up. You want to be really careful with them because even though they are strong, they do break. "
