"My name is Dave Jackal and I am going to talk to you about dealing with stage fright. Every performer no matter how accomplished they are, has had to deal with stage fright one point or other. So before you perform, there are a couple of things you can do before you get out there. First thing you should do is talk to yourself. Remind yourself that you are a good performer. The reason you are there is because people want to see you and no matter what happens you can be proud of the job you've done. It is very important to boost your confidence before a show. So do that and when you get out there, look at the audience. People usually say you should imagine them in their underwear. I wouldn't do that. It might make you laugh or you might get a little bit excited or either disgusted, so just don't do that. Look out at them and remember that they are there to see you and it really doesn't matter what they think of me, as long as you are happy about it. Not everybody is going to be pleased. Some people will always like whatever they say. So just go out there, have fun and don't worry. "
