"My name is Dave Jackal and I am going to give you some advice on what to do and what not to so with your equipment while on stage. First of all you are going to be tempted to move your guitar around quite a bit. Be careful. If you knock your guitar around too much, you could get a string out of tune. If that happens, you are going to have a hell of a time getting back into the middle of performance. So be very careful that you don't knock your strings especially the mike stand because sometimes you are going to be very close to him. If you are moving your guitar a lot, all you have to do is nick the mike stand once and you can warp a strand. You do not want to do that. Plus you could knock of the knock state and that will be a big problem as well,. Another thing you want to be careful with is what you do with the mike. If you are messing around with a mike particular if you have the mike off the stand and you are swinging it around or whatever, that mike comes loose from the cable no one is going to hear you. It has happened to me a couple of times. I'm very careful when I am holding the mike that I still make sure that the microphone and the cable are always firmly attached. Sometimes I hold them together just to make sure they are not going anywhere from each other. If possible, see if you can get them duck taped together. Nothing ruins a performance like when the mike comes loose. Also you want to be careful with what you are stepping on. You may get really into the music. You may get so into the music but you forget that there are cables all over the stage and if you trip, it will hurt and you'll look clumsy, so don't do it. Watch your feet."
