" Hi! I am Debbie with Expert Village.com. These are called Happy Hangers. This is the bee we are going to talk about making today. Once you have your hanger cut out, just throw away your trash and then you are ready to start putting your pieces on; then we talk about making a plan, always have one to look at, so you might make one in advance for them to look at, get our pieces out, get them organized. Lay out our pieces; make sure we are getting them in the right spot. We have a head, we have some wings, and now these stripes are too long now, but we are going to fix that in just a second, bring it on top, legs are going to go down here. The face needs two eyes, two antennas, a stinger; you need two black dots for eyes. So we have our plans, so first thing we are going to do is lay these over here. Actually we are going to put the head together first, teeny little dot of glue, we you need to talk about no slopo taco gluing, beware of the overzealous gluer or your Happy Hanger is going to be a sad hanger, and turn it over on the back, little squiggle of glue, the white eyes look better when they are touching, and I usually give the kids a choice on how they want to put their eyes, looking sideways, looking up, looking down, looking cross eyed however they are want to do it and then our nose. Then we have our smile; this is a little tricky because it’s kind of skinny, we talk about putting little teeny dots of glue, you don’t even need to push the bottle, and it will come out by itself and place it on your face; so we have our face, put together. The next thing we are going to do is put the stripes and I usually put the glue on the hanger for them just because it’s little harder to figure out where that placement is going to be, so I go do some squiggles of the glue and lay their stripes down, let them touch it for a few seconds, make sure that it is stuck. Then here is the front part, you flip it over and you see what is sticking out, trim that off, snip, snip, same thing up here, and you have perfect stripes. Next thing, we are going to do is put the wings on and do a circle of glue here and a circle of glue here. You really have to stress not using too much glue, touch till they are stuck, we often count to 10 in our brains before we get them, make sure that they are stuck really well. For his feet and legs we are going to put a little dot of glue right there, and put it underneath the stripe, hold it for a second, make sure it’s stuck, three sets of two makes six. For our head, just a little circle of glue right there, place it, hold it, and our last piece is our little stinger, and then it goes right here; the little teeny dot of glue and you have your Mr. Bumblebee ready to go."
