"Hi! My name is Denise Bennett and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. We have green onion here. It's been cut actually. This is usually the portion that they use anyway. Go ahead and cut right here a little tiny piece off. You're going to use it from here out. Let me see if I can demonstrate this for you. You probably do know how to use onion, but for those of you that don't, you go ahead and peel this. Take this back. See how bright green that is? That's the parts you want to use. All this stuff is going to come off. Peel that off, cut the edge off here of the roots. See how this is like a darker green. You're not really interested in using that. That's why they've cut it. The piece all they way out to here the way that green onion looks is course. You want to use the tender portion, which would be this. That's why they're selling it this way. When you're trying to watch your sugar content, even natural sugar, for people that need to watch. Maybe diabetic or people that are having problems with Candida. It's really smart to start finding snacks that don't have as much sugar. I'll use jicama, cucumber, celery, and radish. Those are great thing to dip into a nice pâté that you've made. That works really good."
