"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. In this clip I'm going to show you how to sew up your interior pocket. The reason why I wanted an interior pocket I thought it would be a really good idea to have a cold pack that I can just stick in my freezer and then go ahead and put it into the bag. It will just keep everything cold if I'm running errands and don't want to go home right away after grocery shopping. So we cut out our pattern piece and it's going to be a double layer and the first thing you want to do is just go ahead and stitch all the way around the edges. Then after that is done we'll be folding it inside out and then we'll be attaching it to our lining. So go ahead and just do about a 1/4" seam allowance all the way around (stitching) and you're just going to be stitching up three sides. After you do that just go ahead and trim the access what I also like to do is clip the corners slightly cause that just makes it easier to turn and gives you a more squared off corner. After you trimmed that just go ahead and turn it inside out and I just like to give it a really quick press with the iron just to make sure that it lays really flat. "
