In this clip I'm going to show you how to cut out the lining fabric as well as your pockets. Now my lining fabric is not as wide as my exterior fabric so I'm going to have to go ahead and cut this down so I can cut out the back and the sides separately. I only need one side so I'm just going to discard that one now I'll be cutting out because this is a double layer of fabric two sides and then we only need one bottom then two sides over here of our front and back. As well as the interior pocket we do want to double layer pocket so you're just going to go ahead and trace it the same way that you did you exterior fabric. Once you have the entire thing traced out you'll be cutting it out. Another good fabric to use for the interior is something that is waterproof if you use something that was nylon or you can even take something like a woven and treat it with waterproofing spray. Just in case in anything spills or you get that dreaded broken jar in your grocery bag. Then trace out the pocket. Then just cut. Again we're only going to use one bottom because this was already double layer we'll just save the other fabric for something else, so we'll just take one layer away. Because we are stitching the bottom and the sides together we should put a seam allowance but because this is the lining it's going to be a little bit smaller than the actually side of the fabric because it will be easier to attach.
