"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. This topic is how to make a really fun stylish reusable grocery bag that doubles as a really fun bag you can take for a picnic. The supplies that you're going to need for this is some fabric for your outside of your bag and I'm going to be using some white vinyl, some lining fabric. In this case I'm going to use sort of a navy fleece you just want something that can be washed very easily that is also pretty durable that is not going to fray or split. If you do go with a woven go with something really heavy like a canvass duck because anything else the more you stick in the bag has that chance to fray and pull apart. I also wanted to use some really fun fabric for the exterior pocket we're going to make a really big pocket for the outside that you can use for coupons or to hold your car keys when picnicking. We're going to put a zipper in the pocket so you want a zipper that is about 7 or 9" long, you also want some elastic that we're going to use for the inside and that is going to be a fun surprise for your bag. You also just want a standard grocery bag because what we're going to be doing is actually be taken a standard paper grocery bag and be using that as your pattern for our reusable bag. Lastly it's a good idea to get a pair of scissors that are really small with a very very pointed tip because these are used for usually embroidery. But with this really cute zipper technique that I just learned we're going to be cutting the fabric away from the bag so it does help if you do have something that is fairly pointy and small. So with these supplies and turn it into a really fabulous bag that I think you'll love."
