How to pin the applique

"Hi. I'm Candi-Cane Canncel with Expert Villalge. So we went ahead and sewed up our strap, and I noticed when I sewed up my strap, it came out a little bit smaller than I had anticipated. So instead of redoing the whole thing, what I just did is cut down my stars. So if that happens to you, just go ahead and trim down your stars so that they'll fit comfortably on your strap. So the next step is actually pinning your appliques to your guitar strap. So you just kind of lay them out and then go ahead and pin them down. And you want to pin all five points. Just go all the way around, and pin, take another star, lay it out and do the same thing. And when you're actually pinning your appliques, it's a good idea to just look around for placement. You could either group them all on one side of the strap, or you could spread them out, or if you even want to do a lot of appliques, you can go ahead and cut out a bunch and have them going all the way up and down the guitar strap. In this case what I'm doing is just kind of keeping it towards the ends of the guitar strap. So you just put them down, wherever you think looks best, and then just continue pinning them. So once you have it all pinned, this would be a good time to actually lay your guitar strap out and just make sure you like the placement. So if this all looks good, the next step is sewing up your appliques."
