How to stitch the guitar strap

"Hi. I'm Candi-Cane Canncel with Expert Village. So in this clip I'm going to show you how to actually stitch up your guitar strap. So remember when we cut out the guitar strap, it was a little bit too short. So we have to add this little extra tab. So I'm just going to place it, right side to right side, and then pin. I'm just going to take it to my machine and stitch it together. Okay, so once you have that done, we're ready to stitch the rest of it together. So we're just going to put the right sides to right sides. So now we're ready to actually stitch our guitar strap together. So we're going to be putting wrong sides to wrong sides, and as you go, just kind of fold in the edges on either side and this will just give us a clean edge. And you'll be pinning it as you go. And this vinyl is a little bit old and a little bit crackly, but I wanted to use it because I kind of felt like, it just seemed like something that would have been on a guitar strap like in the seventies. So it just kind of looks old and authentic and vintage. So just fold in about a quarter of an inch on either side as you go and just keep pinning all the way along."
