"I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. In this clip we're going to take our little flap and turn it right side out. You just want to make sure that all the corners are pretty turned out and you can always take a pencil and stick it in the corners to make them really flat. What I like to do is also press my flap before I'm going to do my top stitching to make sure that everything is laying really flat. I also do want to measure that it's a good size from my pocket cause now it would be the time if it's to big then you can just take in a little, but it looks like it's good. So I'm going to leave the top open and I'm just going to go ahead and stitch all the way around as close to the edges possible and a really good idea when doing top stitching is to use your presser foot as a guide. A good idea when you're doing top stitching is to go ahead and use your presser foot as a guide because it all ready has a built in lines because of its rectangular shape it just makes it a lot easier. This also would be a fun project if you wanted to do a lot of the top stitching say in metallic or a different color of thread just to give it some more fun detail in it. What I'm going to do is just place my fabric right in between the two little feet of the presser foot and start stitching. (stitching) So what I'm going to do is as I'm stitching I'm keeping an eye that my edge of my fabric is lined up with my presser foot and this is to ensure that you are going to get a really straight top stitching line."
