"I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. So we stitched our facing of our patch pocket, now it's time to actually attach the patch pocket to our garment. What you want to do you kind of put the pins in here just to hold it in place so we're going to be putting it to our garment. What you want to do is take the pins out but you also want to be careful that the seam doesn't pop out. So go ahead and take the pins out and as you take them out go ahead and pin it to the right side of the garment. Then go ahead and add a couple of more pins at the top to make sure it's really flat and in this case because I'm using felt, it is a lot thicker than it would be if you were using this same fabric as your garment. But for demonstration purposes, felt is just really easy to work with and it comes in these fun great colors. Once you have it pinned down then you just take it to your machine and you're going to run a seam all the way along here coming across and then back up. Again you want to make sure that you have it pinned really flat and there is no poking out. We're ready to stitch (stitching). When you get to the corner make sure that your needle is inside of the fabric and just turn it."
