"I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. That was the extra fabric that we're going to be folding over and I measured out an inch and a quarter so I'm just going to make a little line there. So I know that is where I'm going to fold it so before we actually do the facing part what we're going to do is fold over a quarter of an inch and we're actually going to seam this line. Cause what's going to happen is then when we do our facing all of the ragged edges are going to be folded underneath. With felt it doesn't really matter so much but if you were using a woven fabric that phrase easily you definitely want to fold that under. Because then when you fold it under your facing you get this really clean edge and you don't have to worry about anything coming up. I'm just going to go ahead and fold it under pin it and just run a simple stitch going all the way across. "
