"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. After you already stitch the left side, you are going to take the right side and you are going to put it over the left side so that it actually covers the left side stitching. Just stick it all the way around till you get to the bottom; you just want to make sure it covers the stitches. Once you have that done, we're going to run this seam down here and then cut across. You can start it with the zipper head down and go ahead and stitch. (stitching) Pull that zipper head back up, now just keep stitching. Once your stitching ends, come to the corner, go ahead and put down your needle and pick up and go ahead and stitch the last little bit, just stitching across, back tack. There you have a fabulous lap zipper so much fun. I hope that demystified zippers for you empowered you enough to go and put zippers and everything like the simple railroad zipper or even this really cool little zipper exposed treatment. "
