How to Finish Making Your Own Decorative Pillow

"Hello, my name is Carolyn Saylors for Expert Village.com and I want to show you a quick and easy way to make a simple pillow. So now that we have finished sewing it up, we go and check it out all away round to make sure there is no threads sticking out and sure enough we have one here. We just snip it off and the other looks pretty good. If this was just a solid color pillow instead of flowers you could put different colored buttons on here and maybe put them in like an initial, for their initial, like a K or C and then you could put ruffles around this but usually you sew that into the seam. As we finish now making the little circle pillow I just want to show you a few other kinds that you can make and that you can make with ruffles, you can make them out of this camouflage print, squares and rectangles which are always real easy. You can make them for special occasions like for a birthday or July 4th and you can put fringe around them or you can make little oblong pillows. It is very cheap, very inexpensive and a quick way to make a gift that someone will love and they will always be able to remember you by.
