How to Pin the Pillow Pattern to the Fabric

"Hello, my name is Carolyn Sailors for expertvillage.com and I want to show you a quick and easy way to make a simple pillow. Say if you decided that you wanted to also make a heart one to go with this, out of the same fabric you could just lay that heart that we cut out of the newspaper. You can lay it down right down on here and also mark around it. Sometimes it's easier to pin it, if you have trouble with it then you can always pin it to the fabric. So then these pins will hold it in place and make it easier to mark it. Mark all the way around, also this makes it simple where you can make any design that you wanted to out of newspaper like this if you didn't have a lid like I did to make a circle. Now we'll just take the pins out and see we have the heart and the circle right there on the same piece of fabric."
