"GRACE FRAGA: So you already cut it and so now what's the next step? CHANTELLE TIBBS: Well, I glued it right here, just so that it finished off the seam. I kept the seam of the white T-shirt that we used to cut it off. I used the T-shirt to use the fabric, so I have a bottom seam, and I used it so it continued at the bottom seam with this T-shirt to put it right there. So this is a very artsy fartsy kind of comical patch on the bottom of the shirt. GRACE FRAGA: Nice. CHANTELLE TIBBS: And that's our shirt. GRACE FRAGA: Great. So where can you get the glue to glue the patch on the T-shirt? CHANTELLE TIBBS: Now Fabric Glue is one way to attach it; another way to do it would be the thread. I wanted to make sure that this continued into the shirt the same way that it continues into the seam. So I didn't want to make the patch look like it was separate from the shirt; I just wanted to make it look like this was the way the shirt was kinda made. So the glue is a good medium to connect this to the T-shirt 'cause it kinda continues, like it looks like the T-shirt. If you wanted to make this look like more patchy, you could use thread or yarn and you could just sew it into the T-shirt as well. And so-- GRACE FRAGA: And we covered the sewing part in another teaching video. CHANTELLE TIBBS: Yeah. We covered it in the three dimensional video as well. And so--yeah. GRACE FRAGA: How to sew the patches on the T-shirt. CHANTELLE TIBBS: Absolutely. GRACE FRAGA: But glue is faster, so if you're just in a rush, you want to go out, and get your T-shirt, put your T-shirt on, just glue it. CHANTELLE TIBBS: Glue it. Fabric Glue is--you can also Fabric Glue it and sew it. But, yeah, I mean, and this is it. Now I have... GRACE FRAGA: Great. CHANTELLE TIBBS: ...a few tips in mornings just to make sure everybody is covered. GRACE FRAGA: Do you use the hair dryer for the glue, too? CHANTELLE TIBBS: Yes. GRACE FRAGA: Okay. CHANTELLE TIBBS: You want to use the hair dryer for the glue; it just glues faster. Also make sure that you have a twiner just like you would when you paint a T-shirt... GRACE FRAGA: Oh, okay. CHANTELLE TIBBS: ...in between so that the glue doesn't bleed through the other end and you're not gluing your T-shirt together. GRACE FRAGA: Great."
