"Hi. My name is Chemin Alldredge. I'm a third degree Black Belt and I'm here with Expert Village. Today we are going to be going over women's beginning self defense. Alright, now that we know how to do some our basic palm heels, kicks and elbows, we are going to put them into a self defense move. Your attacker is always going to want to be bigger than you. Our first one we are going to do is a wrist grab. Many men will just come up and try to be a threat to you. What you want to do is try to distract them to loosen their grip because there is no way you are going to be able to get out. So what I'm going to do is do a side kick to the knee. I'm going to distract him. Even if you don't hurt him, it's going to still distract him. Grab your hand as soon as you hit your side kick. Grab your hand, pull away using your arm again, thrusting up into your opponent, up into the face or into the abdomen area and then run away. You always want to throw at least three moves into every attack. So what we are doing is we are side kicking straight to the knee area, grabbing our wrist, holding on nice and tight, pulling away using my other hand, taking my elbow and aiming it straight to the face or straight to the abdomen area.
