Before we get started, you need to first bring the essential supplies down to the beach. The first thing to start with would be a shovel. You can use that to dig out some sand; set up a good base. We use a big bucket. It helps us carry water out. There are also the smaller shaping buckets; the different shapes and sizes to build your sandcastle, after you begin. There are also different tools you can bring along to shape; such as plastic spoons, knives, straws, different things to carve; once you begin to build. In between building, you can also bring a spray bottle full of water. That will help wet down the sand; keep it compact, so it will not fall apart while you're building it. All these supplies I'm showing you here today are household items. They're also available at your local stores. They're very accessible, and easy to carry to the beach.
