How to Make a Card Holder With Clothespins

"My name is Courtney Hester on behalf of Expert Village and in this clip we're going to be making a Valentine card holder. We're going to start with our jumbo craft sticks, this is going to be the base of our card holder. You're going to start with one and you're going to put some glue on it all the way across and you're going to glue on the two other sticks on top. The next thing we want to do is paint this, since I'm making a Valentine's one, we're going to paint it purple. We've painted it and now that it's dried, we're going to put this to the side. Next we're going to take four spring loaded clothespins like this one and we're going to paint these pink to go along with our Valentine theme. Now that you've painted those and those are dried, we're going to attach them to our craft sticks that we've already painted. We're going to stick these on here facing opposite directions so that our cards don't hit each other. Now that we have our main pieces, we're going to want to decorate this to make it a little more like Valentine's. So I have some foam pieces that have sticky backing, we're going to peel the backing off, we're going to stick a heart on each one of our clothespins. Now that we've put our hearts on our clothespins, I'm going add a few more decorations to the backing, the stick part. Now we've added all of our stickers our foam stickers for decorations and we want to add one last thing. We're going to add a wire hanger to the top, our handle to the top so this can be hung up. We need to carefully turn our card holder over and put some glue on the back and you'll want to squeeze the ends of your wire close together and then put it in the glue, you want to hold it there till the glue completely sets. Now your Valentine's card holder is ready to hold all of your Valentine cards."
